We used to have a colleague — let’s call him Dave, not his real name — in the office who would make coffee by pouring pre-ground coffee from the bag directly into the filter without measuring. He did it by eye. He was also late for nearly every meeting, he looked like a slob and his personal life was a complete dumpster fire.
